Who We Are
Safe Day Events' goal is to make days and nights safer for everyone.  Safe Day Events is a women-owned/minority-run business offering character building services, empowering products and entrepreneur education to make a better world.

EVIDENCE:   

Current studies have shown that celebrities, entertainers, and peer mentors provide effective interventions to increase positive behaviors and decrease unwanted ones.  For decades, entertainment has made deep and lasting impressions on our population, some to our detriment.  Teachers, preachers, police, and parents may have lost their footing in the minds and hearts of our offspring and today must utilize technology and entertaining multi-media to impress our youth.

Our collaboration of companies are like-minded and dedicated to making a better world.  We are capable of providing a mighty influence and of building a culture of healthy living - a better world.  How?  Because we have the capacity to utilize the influence of celebrities, the experience of successful business persons and the power of youth to support positive change!!!!

MARKETING PLAN:   

We provide all Primary and Secondary Schools, Colleges and Communities with curriculum, technology and programs.  We package ready-made campaigns/events that allow for corporations to offer matching grants to raise dollars from individual sponsors to support our programs.  Safe Day Events has participated in the start of a National Awareness Campaign. We generously provide products, education and entertainment.

MORE ABOUT ONE OF THE CORE ISSUES:   

According to The Commonwealth Fund 1998 Survey, one in five women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime (Collins KS SC, Joseph S, et al, 1999) and the majority of other studies we've reviewed support this conclusion. In July 2009, ABC "Prime Time" televised a program about an alleged drug and date rapist who was acquitted because all 18 women he victimized could not remember what happened and thus were unable to prosecute him in the court of law.  Drug facilitated assault has been a difficult crime to quantify, as you can see by this example, and crosses all socio-economic, racial, geographic, religious borders (high profile cases, such as Michael Jackson,  Nicole Smith and Elvis Presley underscore this issue).

We can reduce date rape, robbery, drug rape and violence with one of our unique products.  It is a comprehensive business-sized card tester which detects over 60 potential drug/date rape drugs (in water, juice, cocktails and tea beverages)  in about 5 seconds. OUTCOMES:   

As a result of the Safe day Project, in a 2 year beta-test with our beverage testers, the Wales Police Department confirmed that they had reduced at-risk behaviors by more then 15% during a major party week. Having beverage safety devices available in all venues and stores, along with a moderate public service announcement campaign, decreased risky behaviors. They noted that having public service announcements alone did not serve to deter these conditions as well. 

The testers serve as a major deterrent against personal crimes.   In 2007 and 2008, in Hawaii and New York,  Safe Day participated in 50 various events highlighting the issues.  We anticipate working with communities, social agencies and programs who welcome safer better communities in the near future.

DISTRIBUTION + INVENTORY:  

To expand to multiple States while developing awareness is our goal. We will increase inventory to distribute boxes of Safe Day Beverage Testers, one of our key flagship products. We will expand inventory as we plan more events with communities, schools and universities.  As our community activities bring awareness, we assist communities to build a culture of healthy living, to develop character, self expression and entrepreneurship. 

CAREERS & JOBS:    

We anticipate employing at least 1000 individuals in the first 2-3 years. We plan to continue to produce a feature film and home-based internet university courses. We enjoy a minimum net margin of 22%.

Thousands of university students, businesses and community volunteers have offered their support.  Safe Day Events is in the key position to attract the best and strongest corporate and business collaborators to administer a Celebrity Endorsement Program, Safe Space Program and Education Campaign.

HISTORY:  

In the last 2 years, we have enjoyed the expertise of over 50 celebrities and professional mentors.   Safe Day has raised over $150,000 through its' own personal contributions and sales of products and services. An excellent and dedicated team have volunteered, thus far. We have secured a contract with Dr. Stanley Grossman. owner of Bloomsbury Innovations and the Drink Detective, our Safe Day Beverage Tester.  We have pending fulfillment call center contracts nationwide.  We have a multi-media global marketing and advertising joint venture.
